I've been bad

FINALLY WE HAVE INTERNET!!! Here are a few catch up posts for you:

We've been busy getting things ready for Dustin's Birthday and Christmas. We are planning on having a pretty low key Christmas with my parents. They are very excited to see Peyton who is getting bigger each day. Here are a few pictures I was able to snap of him in front of the tree.

Birthday fun!

My birthday was on thursday October 9th and I had a wonderful day! Dustin had court in the morning so I got to stay home with Peyton in the morning. When Peyton was starting to wake up Dustin walked in the door (court was cancelled) so Dustin made me breakfast and a COFFEE and we all ate together and laughed at Peyton's new trick (he can now roll his tounge).

My boys are great and I opened presents. Dustin got me a beautiful pearl bracelet that he bought in Hawaii and little Peyton got me a new alarm clock and the Sex in the City Movie.

I went into work later that afternoon for a few hours. When I got there I had a card on my desk from Dustin's mom with a gift car to sage salon. The girls at work all got me a card and a huge chocolate cake from Costco Yum Yum!! One of the best days I've had at work!

When I got home I had cards waiting for me. My parents also got me a gift card to a spa, the new canyon river spa. I can now get my hair cut and colored and a 90 min massage :)

Our good friend Ashley came over later that night and watched Peyton for us while we went out to eat at The Land of Magic one of our favorite places to eat! After we came home put Peyton to bed and watched my new movie while drinking a pomegranate martini.

It was a perfect day! It didn't end there either the next day I got a few more gifts from my parents. A box from Sephora showed up, you know that is good! They had also had flowers deliverd to my work on my birthday so when I got in on Friday I had beautiful flowers waiting for me!

My 26th year started out wonderfully I can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

Our Big One Year Old

We got back from Hawaii on Peyton's first birthday so that night was pretty low key. We had a little dinner and celebrated with a big orange cupcake for Peyton.

The celebration did not end there :) Friday night was the big party Peyton's first Barnyard Bash!! My parents flew in from Seattle and we had a great showing to help celebrate this wonderful year. We held the bash at my aunt and uncle's barn and it was the perfect location. We had a great time and of course Peyton was SPOILED!

Everyone at the Bash

Jennifer who made our wedding cake made Peyton's cake too. She is amazing!!

Honeymoon... x2

Honeymoon #1 Seaside, OR

Dustin and I went to Seaside OR for our honeymoon right after our wedding. We spend three nights in OR and then headed up to Seattle to catch a Mariners game before heading back home. We had a wonderful time with each other, and Peyton stayed home with Nana and Grandpa J for the week.

When we finally got to Oregon we had to dress in our warm clothes (in August) and go straight to the beach!

The Mariners actually WON this game ;)

Honeymoon #2 Kona, HI

Dustin and I were lucky enough to be asked by our good friends Force and Sarah to attend their wedding in Hawaii. It was a short trip but amazing we had a wonderful time.

Our new home

We bought a house!!! We moved in over the 4th of July weekend. My parents came to town to help us with the moving and Peyton. We were very busy especially since it was a month before the wedding. Yes I know we are insane! We absolutley LOVE our new home and are still trying to get settled in. We have so much that we want to get done and so little time together to do it.

We're Engaged!

Christmas 2007 was the best Christmas I have ever had! It was Peyton's first Christmas and we were surrounded with family and friends. We were in Silverdale at my parents house and my grandparents were able to make it over as well.

Our family tradition is to go to church on Christmas Eve and then come home and open up presents. After all the presents were opened Dustin turned to me and said that there was one more left. He pulled out a Benny Bear and I knew it was going to be good :) The bear had a little box that was wrapped. When I opended up the box I found a beautiful ring Dustin took it from me, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES!! It was the best gift!!

It's a BOY

On September 24, 2007 at 3:40 am we welcomed our 7.5 lb beautiful baby boy Petyon Bradford Pitman into the world.

I had gone into labor earlier that day but was in denile. My parents had come up that weekend because my docotor told me that we were having the baby that weekend! I was excited and scared! During dinner I was having contractions but didn't want to tell anyone, the look on my face didn't lie though. My mom asked if I was ok so I confessed I thought I was having contractions. They timed them and they were at 5 min. My water had not broke yet so all I wanted to do was go up and go to bed. I didn't want to be one of those woman who labors for 30 some hours in the hospital. My parents left our house and Dustin took one look at me and said he was taking me in. So we were off to the hospital and left with our perfect baby boy!
One of the few pictures they were able to snap while I was in labor.

Hmmm....some things never change! I guess it doesn't matter that I had just had a baby and no sleep for two days. Nice to know one of us got some sleep :-)

We're having a baby...

Back in January of 2007 Dustin and I were very surprised to find out I was pregnant. It would be a test of our relationship and we passed with flying colors! We were very scared and had no idea what we would be in for. We believe that everything happens for a reason and love the life we have been blessed with!

I had just found out I was pregnant 5 weeks along.
What I wouldn't give for that flat tummy again :-)

Our good friend Kelly is a photographer here in town. She has been able to capture all of our special life moments. Here are a few of our favorite maternity pictures. Kelly is so talented!

Just the two of us

Here are a few pictures of Dustin and I before the real world set in and the story that goes a long with them.

Dustin and I the night we met at Mixers.

I had just gotten off work at 11 PM at the Inn. My friend Ashley, a 911 dispatcher called and said that I needed to come out for drinks with her and her "cop friends". When I got there Dustin would not take no for an answer and made me dance with him (country dance) I had a BLAST. Long story short I told Ashley I wanted to go on a date and Dustin was the lucky guy she set me up with. The rest is history. Thanks Ashley!!

Dustin's Christmas Party 2006

Dustin asked me to go to his Christmas party with him. I was so excited I had never been to a Christmas party before and Dustin got to "show" me off ; )
